Aug 2021- Present

Dean of Business & Accounting: Undergrad, Masters (ANU and UOF)

  • Experience managing multiple teams across geographic locations and time zones (remote workforce)

  • Lead all teams under program development for curriculum on all undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and specialized certificates

  • Build a culture of collaboration, empathy, and trust

  • Promote and instill a culture of learning and student success across the organization

  • Responsible for meeting accreditation needs and evaluation for DEAC and ABHES

  • Build cross-functional relationships between multiple executive offices and departments

  • Lead projects/initiatives and strategic projects across the organization through the creation of the very first Faculty Summit 2022 across all disciplines

  • Responsible for syllabus and rubric standards for our undergrad and graduate courses

-Curriculum development for all undergrad classes lower-division, upper-division, and specialized classes such as certificate programs on all campuses: San Diego, Irvine, and Las Vegas
- Scheduling staff training and other academic affairs activities;
- Student relationship building- creating student-centered activities
- Team building- ensuring that all my teams know each other and can leverage our expertise

Leadership and Service:
•Provided leadership and services for the BBA programs to ensure program effectiveness using assessment of student learning and program reviews
•Supports  Vice-Chancellor/CAO in supporting student success and collaborating to resolve student/faculty needs
•Worked closely with Vice-Chancellor/CAO, administrators, and faculty to prepare and support the WASC College and University Commission (WSCUC) accreditation candidacy.

•Head a number of institutional committees including the Undergraduate Program Oversight Committee, Academic Assessment Committee, BBA Quality Improvement Plan committee.

 Team Lead/Adjunct Faculty (SNHU)

A private not for profit accredited institution with more than 3,000 campus students and over 90,000 online students. It was founded in 1932. It offers 200 programs and it is one of the fastest growing university.

My Responsibilities:

  • I Team Lead  40-80 Business Graduate Professors annually

  • I teach between 180-240 Business Graduate students annually

  • Create announcements, metrics, and videos to help enhance class discussions

  • Provide live webinars to reinforce their knowledge and better understanding of their assignments

  • Consistently provide instructional, personal, and intellectual presence

2019-2020

Commercial Finance Specialist

Cardiff is a financial services leader with specific products and expertise. We maintain thousands of relationships with business owners, equipment dealers, and manufacturers across the US. Their product set includes commercial equipment financing and leasing, credit cards, merchant services, and insurance.

My Responsibilities:

  • Provide business funding for small to medium-size businesses nationwide

  • We provide lines of credit, working capital, equipment financing and many more

  •  We help and guide small to medium size businesses to have better control of their new expansion, inventories, payroll, and other business endeavors.

  • I analyze financial KPI's and bank analysis on business performance to better help merchants financial needs

  • Mastered CRMs such as SalesForce and internal proprietary software use to navigate customer profiles.

2019- 2019

Account Manager

An 18-year-old family-owned business. It is a full staffing agency from administration to construction. It caters to small and medium-sized businesses throughout San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Northern California.

My Responsibilities:

  • 75 client visits or more per week

  • Solicit new accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals

  • 100+calls/emails (day to day)

  • Making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales

  • Assist guide outs for new clients to ensure that employee and clients are happy with services provided

  • Maximize service selling all facets of the Staffing agency

  • Handle account details, prepare correspondence to coordinate various

      departments

2010-2015

Account Manager / Business Development Manager

Small business targeting sole proprietor, small to medium size business selling services such as consulting, training workshop, seminars, coaching, and human resources in the medical, technology, business, and education

industry.

My Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for managing sales and relationship building

  • Managed a territory with my team

  • Maintained and achieved sales goal quarterly

  • Researched and created metrics for my territory to achieve full information on my customers

  • Identified and analyzed industry and geographic trends

2005-2009

Entrepreneur

This was a small business retail shop specializing in boutique Japanese animation collectibles co-owned by me. 

I've owned 3 Retail shops for five years until I move to a different state due to my husband's nature of his job.

My Responsibilities:

  • Hired, fired, and trained new employees

  • Advertised, offer, and provide goods and services to collectors

  • Marketing research, buying, import/export and selling goods

  • Launched of New Business Operations/Niche market

  • Developed business strategy, operations, and objective

      achievement plan

1999-2005

Manager

2nd largest Property and Casualty insurer in United States. Owned by Warren Buffet and in business since 1936.

* Responsible for over 20 direct reports performance management and productivity goals.
* Hired, trained, and developed staff.
* Coordinated, directed, and monitored daily shift operations for a 24-hour workday.
* Successfully trained associates on strategic techniques for customer retention.
* Collaborated with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
* Measured and assessed customer and employee satisfaction.
* Managed departmental equipment budget and pursued cost management endeavors further reducing departmental cost by $50K/yr. using Lean Six Sigma
